Bringing the Kilwins Magic to Geneva

Kilwins was founded in 1947 by Don and Katy Kilwin, who wanted to share their passion for candy-making with their neighbors in Petoskey, Michigan. They soon realized that it wasn’t only fellow Petoskey residents who loved the Kilwins menu; the whole world started clambering for a slice, too.

The Kilwin family heard the call and answered. They started with small batches of chocolate and baked goods before growing their menu with new creations throughout the years. Some of their original recipes are still being used to this day in our chocolate, caramel, fudge, and more.

Fudge and Caramel Apples

Our Mackinac Island Fudge is made inside our store for everyone to watch. Every piece is silky smooth, thanks to our traditional hand-paddling techniques.

We are also proud to say that we have created the perfect caramel apple. Our caramel apples are made with crisp Granny Smith apples and dipped in our smooth, made-in-store caramel. Customers can enjoy a medley of creamy and crunchy flavors with toppings like milk chocolate drizzle, toasted nuts, and more.

These trucks allow us to monitor and regulate the temperature to maintain our ice cream’s quality and prevent it from melting. Our specialized packaging also seals our ice cream from air exposure, ensuring that it’s in perfect condition when it reaches our Geneva ice cream store.
